We are looking for an experienced, collaborative & driven professional, with a passion for and background in a range of data quality monitoring and reporting services in Health Safety and Environment (HSE)
As the subject matter expert in the understanding of the underlying data structures used to manage HSE information, you will identify, and ensure data integrity and accuracy for a range of replicable analytics and dashboard reporting to optimise Transgrid’s use of HSE data to inform critical strategic decisions.With a background in Business intelligence and systems database administration you will have a business reporting analysis background with strong Power BI experience from a user lens. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who has a flair for liaising with different stakeholders at different levels.
Your professional and engaging approach will allow you to play a supporting role in creating strong partnerships with SMEs to provide assistance in reporting enhancements to ensure reporting and data integrity is to the standard required by Transgrid.
What are we looking for?
- Advanced proficiency in Excel & Power BI (VBA & Power Query) and other business applications of MS Office, and possess strong analytical and data visualisation skills.
- Knowledge of HSE legislative and regulatory requirements and terminology for reporting and analytics.
- Strong experience in using data management systems (Camms / InEight / Pegasus would be advantaged) and drawing insights from large data sets.
- Experience in assisting to develop and deliver HSE & People reporting solutions and providing insightful commentary for business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and pragmatically with a structured (yet flexible) approach to solve problems and find outcomes that truly provide value to the customer.
- Advanced knowledge of reporting and analytical services and data integration and presentation.
- Ability to draw correlation between data sets, analyse and provide insights and trend statistics.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Business Reporting & Analytics and looking to build a career in this space.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
